From humble beginnings..
We re-established the Kranshoek Dolphins Rugby Club in February 2018, where we selected the Management Team that consists of our Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and the Coaching Staff.
Our first training session started on the 6th of February 2018 with a total of 10 players, which gradually grew into a pool of 40 players that includes the under 19 group of players.
Since we were too late to register for SWD Coastal League, we managed to arrange with the support of SWD, 20 friendly games which included President League Teams from SWD and Third Division Teams. Kranshoek Dolphins Rugby Club managed a 70% success rate for both home and away games for the over 19's/seniors, where the under 19's played 10 games with a winning ratio of 30%.

On the 1st of September 2018, we managed to host our first successful Fundraiser Tournament where we invited four League Teams from the Eastern Cape. We proudly won the cup! Since we started playing the game of rugby in the community it has made a huge impact on the whole community, which is shown by the huge attendance of both young and old supporters.
This initiative brought us to the idea to engage with the school sports coordinators, where we met inside the school hall to share our vision to engage the little ones from all ages to become a part of our Community Engagement Plan. Our holistic plan for this community is to meet all the challenges that include their social life, family life and more. Since our engagement with the school, the under 13 team reached the play offs of the under 13 Schools League where they unfortunately lost in the final against Fraaisig Primary of Knysna.
We submitted our application to participation in the SWD Coastal League on the 20th of August 2018 which would include us in the 2019 season fixtures. We were invited to the AGM of SWD Coastal League that was held on the 13th of October 2019 to give our presentation to all the Clubs and Management of SWD that we have done successfully. We were informed on the 15th of October 2019 by letter of acceptance from SWD for the 2019 Season.
